Our Lives These Days

Lauren is now 16 weeks and 2 days old. She's doing great but still congested with phlegm as a result of the cold she picked up during our visit to Ohio 3 weeks ago. But most importantly, she's eating, sleeping, peeing, and pooping well - all positive hallmarks of a healthy baby. And as always, she's still one to pose for a photo shoot. This one from yesterday is entitled, simply, "The Lady"...

She recently received quite a huge package from her grandparents in Ohio to celebrate her first Easter:

What's in those boxes?...

Striking it rich from inside one Easter egg...

Her first set of keys...(for her mouth)...

Lauren loves her Easter basket...

Exhausted from all the toys and Easter excitement...

Matching hat and socks knitted by Lorraine's friend's mother...

As for Lorraine and me, we look forward to the "little" things in life these days:

- eating a meal together at the same time (Lauren seems to want to eat as a family - in other words, food for us means someone provides food for her)

- watching an entire episode of The Amazing Race on TV on Sunday nights without interruptions (we agreed that it wouldn't be good for us to be on this show as a team - I'm too competitive and we'd have too many little squabbles on the side that, although would make for entertaining television, it would be at our expense)

- sleep (Lauren is starting to sleep earlier in the night, around 9pm, and waking up at 8 or 9am so we like that very much)

Fun times 24/7, right, Lorraine? Lorraine? Hello?

How cute is she with all of the great easter presents! Life seems to be getting better in the Lee household. :)

Awwww. No wonder the Easter Bunny was so good to her. Who could resist that face?

Just wait until she starts setting up a consistent bedtime. You'll have all of the AR and meals you want! Ahhhh.

Thanks for bringing us there for Lauren's First Easter (from the gift box to Lauren's expressions as she discovered all her goodies and her adorable expressions, it was great!) Love, Grandma G.
