106 Days Old Today

Due to our planned trip to Ohio and needed recovery time afterwards, Lauren's California grandparents finally were able to see her after a 3-week hiatus, which according to my mother was "torturous". We drove up to LA on Sunday for Lauren's belated 100-day celebration. Of course, my mother put on her usual spread of way-too-much-Korean-food but too-good-not-to-have-another-serving...

It was exceptionally nice to have the full "family" there - Lorraine, Lauren, and me plus my sister, Helen, and Bruce, and my brother, Johnny, and Dawn. My mom said (with a smile) it felt like a "full house"...

100 Days Old

Hello everyone -

Apologies for not updating our blog in a while. So much has happened since March 3rd...

Today, Lauren is 100 days old, which is an important milestone in Korean culture. She's healthy and wonderfully active; and also recently weighed in at 14lbs, 3oz:





First Airplane Ride

Last week, we flew to Ohio to visit Lauren's grandparents. She was a wonderful traveller, and was given some "wings" from a flight attendant. It made for a long trip, regardless:
