Hi everyone-
It's official, we're homeowners! Since our last posting, we've gone through a smooth escrow closing, no-trauma funding, packing, moving with professional movers, unpacking and organizing our stuff.
Top 10 Reasons for Loving Where We Live:
10. Only six homes on this cul-de-sac street
9. Every home has children, most as young as Lauren
8. All six homes are on the same side of the street, facing nature and foothills, not other homes
7. Cool sea breezes off the Pacific Ocean
6. A lot of space inside and out
5. Neighborhood (two streets) get-togethers every Wednesday at 5 at the park at the cul-de-sac
4. Making rookie mistakes such as not knowing the trash and recycling bins are collected at different times during the pick up day (we thought they forgot to dump one)

2. Finally feeling grounded after living in Ohio, London, NYC, and Newport Beach since 2001

We're now in the process of having contracting work done inside (window treatments, crown molding and built-in cabinets) and landscaping. We'll have more pictures later!
