Movin' On Up - To the Southside...

First, apologies to all for not being able to keep our postings current. As many of you know, we've been managing our living situation since the builder of our would-have-been new home shut down operations two weeks into the new year while we were waiting to close. Over the past two months, we've collected our money from the builder (John Laing Homes), as they've now gone into Chapter 11, moved to another apartment in our complex (thanks, Bruce and Helen), and searched for a new home to purchase.

We've appreciated the support from many of you and as you've requested updates on where we may end up, I'm happy to share that we've found that new home in San Clemente, a beach community about 20 minutes south of where we are now. There are easy to access beaches; a golf course down the road; and SPACE (inside and outside the house):

As of today, we have an accepted offer, approved financing, and are now awaiting close of escrow in a few weeks...









It's a nice find - a brand new big house, side and back yards, cul-de-sac street, and good school system. Please cross your fingers for us until we all sign on the dotted line. We'll keep you posted!
