3) Lauren's grandparents visited from Ohio

First, Erica. She came to visit in June and spent a week with Lorraine and Lauren. Erica was able to accompany Lauren to her gym class and the beach. We'll be seeing more of Erica in Oct, when she gets married in Michigan. But until then, we hope she enjoyed these memories of California...
Next, Lauren has been taking swimming lessons with "Ms. Krista" from Swim Synergy since early July. It's actually a drowning prevention class where she learns to float and swim. It's been amazing to see her ecstatic in the water and doing it so well...
Next, Lorraine's parents flew into CA in late July and are currently still here. While here, they've been enjoying the California summer and spending a lot of overdue time with Lauren. They've also been kindly providing much help in shuttling Lauren to and from school, swim lessons, and other fun activities. Lauren has missed them...
Also, Aunt Helen and Bruce finally got engaged during their trip to Yellowstone National Park early this month in August. They are currently looking for venues for what I'm sure will be a special ceremony! No pics yet.
Finally, some more big news. Lorraine is 12 weeks pregnant. It's been another tough first trimester for Lorraine with IV and infusion pump therapy for dehydration and nausea/vomiting, but we're so excited about the news. Lauren prophetically picked out a book, "I'm a Big Sister", last weekend (I did not lead her, I promise). If her pregnancy with Lauren is an indication, we're REALLY looking forward to the 2nd trimester, when Lorraine will hopefully be feeling 100%. We'll keep you posted with our progress - much like we did as the genesis of this blog. The little new one...

Those underwater pics are amazing!
Having been able to enjoy Lauren's first week of drowning prevention classes with Ms. Krista just a few short weeks ago, I am in SHOCK seeing her progress - way to go! and WOW - those photos and video are ahhhhhhhmazing! It was such a wonderful visit with you all - thank you, again, for having me. A formal congratulations to all three of you on the news of Baby Lee #2. Lauren is going to be a great big sister. Lorraine - feel better soon - you are in my thoughts. CONGRATS to Helen and Bruce!! xoxo
Yeah!! So many wonderful things happening in the Lee Family!! Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your new baby...what wonderful news!! I hope you feel better quickly...just keep thinking of the wonderful gift that you will have at the end of the 9 months!
