Catching Up in May

First of all, happy 4th wedding anniversary to Lorraine, my lovely wife!

Wow, there's been a flurry of frantic activity since our last post (over a month ago!). Sorry about the delay in keeping this blog current. Many of you have been asking so here's an equally frantic update of everything that's been going on since Easter...

Playing House (if only it were that fun).

We've been busy trying to buy the right things for the right places in this home. Completed so far: window treatments for 43 (!) windows, crown molding installed (pain in the neck), and alarm activated. In the kitchen nook, we love this big NYC print (reminds us of our time in the city every time we sit for a meal), and this Crate & Barrel table (took 5 deliveries and 7 tables to finally get one that wasn't damaged):



Also, the first of four cabinets being built (this one is for the family room):
