Standing tall
She started pulling herself up to stand over two weeks ago. Once she gets on her feet, she is so proud of herself that she giggles and claps her hands with excitement.
Chatty
Lauren's new word is "up". Everything is "Up, up, up".
Greeter
It's a big event when Daddy comes home from work and walks through the front door. No matter what Lauren is doing when we hear the door open, she races towards it on her hands and knees. She gets so excited hearing Daddy's voice and seeing him that she collapses to the ground on her way to him and starts wiggling about with excitement. It is truly the sweetest thing ever.
Feel a bit peckish?
Hungry, hungry, hungry. That is what Lauren has been since the day she was born. With table food, this is no exception. Yes, there are the staples of Gerber puffs and Cheerios but her favorites are chicken, black beans, and sweet potato fries (baked, of course). She will try anything. Loved the tortilla soup I was eating for lunch one day. Enjoys chicken taco salad and basically goes crazy for anything with taco seasoning. The kitchen has become a very interesting place in the Lee household.
Okay, enough chit chat. I know what you're waiting for. Here's a few photos of the little bean:
Snuggly warm after her bath...
Ignoring Mommy ... as usual.
Standing up like a big girl!

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, ETC. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING LAUREN IN A FEW DAYS
LOVE, DAD
She looks great. What a big girl!
I recognize the "ignoring mommy" look; it's all too similar to one that's on Libby's face, oh, all the time.
