There have been a series of exciting milestones recently for our growing daughter. First, she was baptized at her Ohio grandparents' church in Cincinnati. Here's a video snapshot:
Yesterday, Lauren was able to pick up a small "puff" between her forefinger and thumb and feed herself:
Today, Lauren even crawled forward. She's been crawling backwards for the past week, wedging herself under the sofas, into bookcases, but now it looks as if she can get herself out:

And I love the Matchbox cars. I can see a 5-year-old Lauren now-- beribboned and bowed--pushing a card around and making motor sounds. She'll show that girlie-girls can like the cars, too!
