Henry's longtime friend, Susie, and her husband, Kurt, were busy in SoCal visiting family and friends so we were lucky enough to meet up with them this past Saturday. Lauren met Susie and Kurt for the first time and enjoyed seeing new friendly faces. She loved grabbing at Susie's hand and playing with her sparkling bracelet. It was wonderful to see them both and hope to again very soon.
Lunch with the Hines of Ohio
Maryann Hines and her mom are in the OC visiting her sister, Sueann, and we all got together for lunch today along with Sueann's daughter, Eve. Maryann last saw Lauren in Ohio when she was three months old and is amazed at how big she is getting. Lauren took to Maryann immediately and made Maryann's lap her happy and content home for the next two hours while we all lunched. Also, it was so much fun to see Lauren interact with Eve, who is almost four. Lauren LOVES Eve. She giggles and laughs so hard when Eve plays with her ... it's so very sweet to see her "talking" with Eve. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon, Hines Family!

Okay, Hines ladies, let me please state for the record that NO ONE is getting older and bigger except for Little Miss Lauren. I apologize for my jumbled grammar. Also, Sueann (aka "Eve's mom") is very cute ... and so is the entire Hines clan. Smarties, too. Very good genes in that family. And NO ONE needs Botox ... yet : ) Love you guys!
